Adams and Mc Guinness among platform speakers at Galbally Public Meeting

Sinn Fein West Tyrone MP Pat Doherty has confirmed that both Gerry Adams and Martin Mc Guinness will be among the platform speakers at a major Sinn Féin public meeting being held at Galbally Community Centre on Wednesday 23rd April at 8pm.

Pat Doherty said,

"The Galbally meeting will be the last in a series of nine public meetings being organised by Sinn Fein at venues across the six counties during the month of April.

"These meetings have been organised so as to not only to enable Sinn Fein to present our analysis of the situation 10 years after the signing of the Good Friday Agreement, and one year on from the restoration of the institutions but just as importantly to enable people in local communities to engage directly with senior party figures, including Gerry Adams and Martin Mc Guinness, on the holistic range of political social and economic issues.

"Direct engagement with local communities is a crucial element of Sinn Féin's strategy of ensuring that people have not only a real sense of ownership of the political process but that they also have a direct input in shaping the agenda for positive change on this island and before the end of the year Sinn Fein will be replicating this invaluable exercise to local areas throughout the 32 counties.
