Donnelly Welcomes Dromore road resurfacing

Published: 28 March, 2019

Sinn Féin west Tyrone Candidate Ann Marie Donnelly has welcomed remedial road resurfacing work in Dromore, scheduled to take place this weekend. Speaking after receiving correspondence from DFI Roads confirming the scheme Mrs Donnelly said:

"I welcome this planned work from DFI Roads in Dromore which will include road resurfacing from St Davogs Chapel to the roundabout at the Fintona Road junction. This road has been a concern for a considerable period of time and confirmation that this work will take place will be welcome news to those who have brought this to my attention in recent times.

"However, in order for this work to take place it is essential to close this road to traffic from Saturday at 7:30am until 6pm on Sunday. It is my understanding that appropriate diversions will be in place. Whilst this is an inconvenience it is my hope that when complete this work will ensure to road is brought up to an acceptable standard. This particular road is quite a busy one for people accessing Enniskillen hospital and is a well trafficked route and any improvement work undertaken on it is a welcome one.CRÍOCH
