Premier Tyrone screening of collusion film set for Carrickmore

Published: 26 February, 2019

Mid Tyrone council candidate Catherine Kelly has said she looks forward to hosting the Tyrone Premier of a film looking at British state collusion in Ireland at the weekend. 'Unquiet Graves' will be screened on Saturday evening in The Patrician Hall in Carrickmore.

Speaking ahead of the event the Mid Tyrone representative said:

"We will be welcoming director Seán Murray to Carrickmore on Saturday evening for the Tyrone Premier of his film, 'Unquiet Graves'. The film is a culmination of many years of painstaking work and research into the issue. Working alongside a number of people who have dedicated many years investigating collusion, as well as with some of the family's of the victims of the Glenanne gang, 'Unquiet Graves' represents a damning indictment of the British Government and their agencies in Ireland over the course of many years.

"Of Course, for many the practice and operation of Collusion has been known for a considerable period. This film clearly lays out how it was carried out, and by whom, and on whose orders. Tickets are already selling fast for this event, and is proving very popular. For anyone still looking to attend there are a few tickets remaining and we ask that people book them online via https://helmtickets.com/ or by contacting Maggie Donaghy on 07799866703.CRÍOCH
