Catherine Kelly MLA said,

"I have organised a number of Suicide Prevention Training Events in Omagh and there is a need to signpost people to professional support services. There should not be a stigma around Mental Health, and that's why we have taken this "Tyrone Talks" initiative."

Barry McElduff MP said,

"I would encourage local people who are interested in the subject of Mental Health and emotional wellbeing to come along to this event. It is very understandable that a huge amount of public focus is placed on waiting lists for elective surgery, and on hospital services. I totally understand and support this. But sometimes mental health services are looked upon as the Cinderella of the Health Service. It is only right that we raise awareness about Mental Health and signpost people to the support available."
