Derg Sinn Féin Councillor Maolíosa McHugh last week led a delegation of Clady community representatives to Hillsborough Castle to lobby the DRD committee on the increasing number of articulated lorries travelling through the small village of Clady.

Speaking after the meeting Cllr McHugh said,

"We were delighted to have been given the opportunity to bring the Clady traffic issue before Stormont's DRD committee. I am relieved that we received the unanimous support of Stormonts DRD committee, that the situation with articulated lorries travelling through Clady needs addressed immediately. I look forward to working closely with my party colleagues and others on the committee in discovering measures to resolve the situation promptly."
