Mc Hugh welcomes resolving of bins issues at Garvan Court, Glebe

Sinn Féin Cllr for the Glebe area, Maolíosa Mc Hugh, has today welcomed confirmation from Strabane District Council that residents living in Garvan Court, Glebe, will soon be getting their bins lifted from outside their homes.
Cllr Mc Hugh said;
'For number of months now I have been working on behalf of the residents of Garvan Court to try and resolve the issue of getting their weekly bin collection done outside... their homes as opposed to out at the end of the road. I have a had number of discussions with Council in relation to this matter as well as direct contact with the developer of the site and it has now been agreed that the developer has signed a 'waiver' which will see Council bin lorries entering the estate and notice to the residents will be forthcoming from Council in the very near future.
Cllr Mc Hugh cont;
'I hope this positive development will be to the satisfaction to all involved and I would like to congratulate those who took the time to resolve this issue for the benefit of many people.'
