Ms Boyle stated,

"There is evidence that Children with Disabilities are being heavily impacted upon by the proposed British Government spending reduction.

"It is important that children with disabilities are given the best opportunity to reach their full potential and lead as normal life as possible. In order to do so we need to have a strategic plan that will influence the decision makers in order to achieve maximum effect for the children.

"Poverty is a key indicator in preventing children with disabilities in leading an improved lifestyle and the proposed cuts by the British Government will only add to the number of children who will fall under the child poverty level hindering their ability to fulfil that potential.

"The children with Disabilities Strategic Alliance is an excellent example of organisations coming together to give a strong message on the needs of children with disabilities to participate in our society.

"I welcome the launch of this manifesto and hope that it will be used as a template in delivering services to all children with disabilities."
