Sinn Fein west Tyrone Councillor Ann Quinn has written to Roads Service about the bad condition of a number of Roads in Dromore. The local councillor said she has been 'inundated with complaints' from Dromore residents angry at the upkeep of some local roads.
Councillor Quinn explained:
"I have been inundated with complaints by residents in Dromore in relation to the state of our roads. I have raised these issues many times with DRD Roads Service. Roads which are a constant source of frustration is Main Street and Church street. Additionally Dooish road has in recent times fallen into a very poor state of disrepair. "DRD Roads Service has adopted a patchwork approach to roads maintenance at onDooish Road for several years. Recent resurfacing further out the Dooish Road has to be welcomed, but this should have been continued into Dromore, where the road has been in a desperate bad state of disrepair for many years."
