Equality Commission Guidance sought on Increased Disabled Taxi Fares

Plumbridge Road resurfacing scheme hit by manhole cover thefts -Kelly

Glenelly Sinn Féin Councillor Dan Kelly says that the increasing problem of scrap metal theft is amply illustrated by the theft of 4 manhole covers on a stretch of the Plumbridge Road which had been raised and moved aside the evening previously in preparation for resurfacing work the next day. Bridgend residents' property being stolen to facilitate 'comfortable drinking sessions'-Carlin

Strabane Sinn Féin Councillor Karina Carlin says that two blue wheelie bins stolen from the front of homes of residents in O' Nolan Park were amongst a large volume of material burnt on the adjoining service lane to the NI Water Sewage Pumping Station by those engaged in a drinking session on Sunday Night. Poignant commemoration marks 25 years since the murder of Aidan Mc Anespie

Aidan Mc Anespie's father, John and sister Margo take part in Thursday evenings candle lit commemoration.

On Thursday evening over 1000 people took part in a candle lit commemoration at the spot where Aidan Mc Anespie was shot dead by a British soldier 25 years ago. Read full article

Boyle welcomes £9.9million boost for Post Primary Schools to help deliver 'Entitlement Framework' for all pupils

West Tyrone Sinn Féin MLA Michaela Boyle has welcomed the announcement by Education Minister John O Dowd that an additional £9.9million is to be made available to Post Primary Schools to help them meet the extra costs involved in planning and delivering the Entitlement Framework of subjects for all pupils. Omagh Council Agricultural committee convened

Omagh District Councils Agricultural committee has been reconvened in the aftermath of the horsemeat scandal. Chairman of the Agriculture committee, Sinn Féin Councillor Sean Donnelly said he called the meeting to allay the fears of local farmers and consumers after news broke that traces of horsemeat were found in some beef products. New Road Opened outside Dromore

Dromore Sinn Féin councillor Ann Quinn has welcomed the opening of the new road, at Shannaragh, just outside Dromore.
