All Ireland Presidential Elections Call

All Ireland Presidential Elections Call Sinn Féin Omagh District Councillor Peter Kelly has said the Irish Government should revisit the issue of votes for the Irish diaspora and those from the north who wish to cast a vote in future presidential elections. He was speaking after the French Presidential elections began on Monday. French citizens in Ireland are entitled to vote in the poll. Read full article

Hikers prepare for Sperrins Challenge

Republicans are preparing to scale the highest peaks of Counties Derry and Tyrone in a 12 mile trek over the Sperrin Mountains on Saturday 5th May to mark the 25th anniversary of the Loughgall ambush. On 8th May 1987, 8 IRA men and a civilian were killed in an SAS ambush in the Co. Armagh village. Read full article

Several hundred people attended the annual Loughmacrory commemoration at the graveside of brothers Gerard and Martin Harte. Gerard and Martin were shot while on active service with their comrade Brian Mullin on Tuesday 30th August 1988. Read full article

Young People Learn Suicide Prevention Skills
