Strabane Oasis Dental Care capacity increased by 300

Sinn Féin West Tyrone MLA Michaela Boyle says that she has been assured that Oasis Dental Care in Strabane has been permitted to open its books for an additional 300 patients. This follows last week's reports that additional 257 patients were now on a waiting list for treatment as the local Oasis providers indicated that it already reached the 3,000 registered patient capacity awarded in the initial contract in its first 18 months of operation in the town. Omagh Council in special meeting over flooding.

Sinn Féin West Tyrone councillor and chairman of Omagh District Council, Frankie Donnelly has revealed that there is to be a special meeting of the Planning committee of the council on Monday evening. Debris from drinking sessions obstructing access to vital sewage pumping station work

Strabane Sinn Féin Councillor Jay Mc Cauley says that the debris left following weekend drinking sessions on the approach lane from O' Nolan Park to the Sewage Pumping Station in the town is frustrating the ability of NI water workers to carrying out required regular maintenance checks without incurring damage to vehicles and could even jeopardise their ability access the facility in cases of emergency. Sinn Féin supporting 'last resort' strike action by medical secretaries in Western Trust area

Sinn Féin MLA Michaela Boyle in West Tyrone has expressed her full support for strike action to be taken by medical secretaries in the Western HSC Trust area on Tuesday 8th November stating that it is fully justified as it is being undertaken as a last resort in their long running effort to secure parity of grading with other medical secretaries with comparable duties both within the Trust area and between this Trust area and other trust areas where the issue has been long addressed. MLA issues appeal to protect Strabane Library Opening Hours

Sinn Féin West Tyrone MLA Michaela Boyle has called upon the community to demonstrate their support for the retention of existing level of services provided at Strabane Library by responding to an Opening Hours Review Consultation being currently undertaken by Libraries NI which is recommending the reduction of opening hours at the local facility from 52 down to 40 hours per week.
