Council chairman performs official opening of newly refurbished Hospital Road Community Centre.

On Friday afternoon, the Chairperson of Omagh District Council, Declan Mc Aleer performed the official re-opening of the newly refurbished Hospital Road Community Centre. The community centre is one of three council run facilities in the town and the £1 million refurbishment has provided multi purpose rooms and facilities which enable local groups to avail of a wide range of activities and services. NIE Energy Contact Centre officially opened in Omagh

The Chairperson of Omagh District Council, Declan Mc Aleer was among the guests who welcomed Minister Arlene Foster to the official opening of the NIE Energy Contact Centre at Bankmore Business Park, Omagh. Sinn Féin to co-opt new councillor on to District Council

Sinn Féin West Tyrone MLA Barry McElduff has stepped down from Omagh District Council after 10 years on the local government scene. Mr McElduff formally handed in a letter of resignation to the Omagh District Council offices on Monday 2nd August and was accompanied by Dromore native Glenn Campbell who will fill the vacant Sinn Féin seat on the council.
