British Queen not welcome in Ireland - Sinn Féin

Sinn Féin councillor Sean Clarke has said the British Queen should not be welcomed in any part of Ireland. His comments follow the Taoiseach Brian Cowen's welcome for a visit to Ireland by the Queen of England, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the British Army. Read full article

French delegation participate in Omagh Midsummer carnival

Thousands of people took to the streets of Omagh on Friday evening to celebrate the 11th annual Mid summer carnival. This year's event was made extra special by the participation of a delegation from Pont Remy in Northern France. The delegation was in the district to mark the 10th anniversary of the signing of a twinning charter with Drumquin.
