Sinn Féin welcomes new "interagency planning approach" for young disabled adult provision

Policing and justice transfer offer creates golden opportunity for progress on educational campus proposal - Doherty

West Tyrone MP, Pat Doherty has welcomed the British government offer on transfer of policing and justice powers to the 6 county Executive. Part of the offer is to transfer the vacated military sites at Lisanelly and St Lucia in Omagh, along with 3 other sites in the 6 counties. Mr Doherty has been lobbying the British MoD for many years to transfer these sites to the Executive so that they can be used for community and civic purposes. Read full article

Asbourne set to benefit from new recreational and play facilities.

Council Motion aims to bring All Ireland Fleadh to Omagh
