Concerns raised over poor state of Kildrum RoadPublished: 5 March, 2010
Ann Quinn has raised her concerns over the poor state of the Kildrum road in Dromore. He flagged her concerns following representations from local residents who live on the road. She alleged that up to 15 potholes were in the span of one mile on the road, which is just outside the town of Dromore.
Speaking Ann Quinn said:
"Having been contacted by residents of Kildrum road I visited the road and viewed at first hand the potholes which stretch for a considerable part of the road. Given the recent weather conditions it is understandable how the road could become like this however I would have concerns about length of time it is taking to have remedial work carried out.
"The road is particular busy during the day and remedial action would be welcomed by the road users. I have been in contact with Roads Service to first of all make them aware of the situation and furthermore call for remedial action to be carried out on the road. |
